Mrs. Sarah Brogue Dies at Corinth

Corinth — Mrs. Sarah Shippee Brogue, died at 5:21 p.m. yesterday [Apr. 24, 1938] at her home. She had been ill several years but was confined to her home for only seven weeks.

Mrs. Brogue was born Jan. 15, 1879 and had resided in Corinth 35 years. Her parents were Albert and Eliza Shippee. She was a member of the local Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. William Quinn, South Glens Falls, and Mrs. Arthur Judge, this village; two grandsons Robert and Curtis Quinn, South Glens Falls; her stepmother, Mrs. Vella Shippee, this village, and several cousins, nephews and nieces.

The funeral will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday [Apr. 27, 1938] at the home. The Rev. F. Allan Dana, pastor of the Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Corinth Rural Cemetery.
