Mary Shippey, age 57, died last night [Apr. 4, 1926] at her home, 111 West Thirty-first street. She had resided in the city 33 years and was well known. She was the widow of the late John Shippey, contractor and lumber dealer.
She was a member of the St. Paul's Catholic church and belonged to the Rosemary and Altar societies.
Surviving her are two sons, James of this city, well known baseball player, and Henry of Battle Creek, Mich.; two daughters, Mrs. Rose Alles of Milwaukee, and Mrs. Edith Winslow of Marion; and one brother, James Archer of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
