SHIPPY, Hazel D. (86) — Passed away Feb. 2 [1973 ] in a local convalescent home. Her home W1724 Euclid. Survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. Charles B. (Elma) Porter and Lora Wilhelm, both Spokane; 1 stepdaughter, Doris Pitt, San Jose, Calif.; 2 step-sons, Leslie Shippy, Spokane, A.C. Shippy, Walnut Creek, Calif.; 2 grandchildren, James B. Porter, Spokane, Beverly Jopkin, Azores, Portugal; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, James E. Adams; 1 sister, Orpha L. Hilby, both of Spokane; several nieces and nephews. A member of the Emmanuel Presbyterian Church and a resident of Spokane all of her life. The Thornhill Geraghty and Langbehn Funeral Home, N1322 Monroe St., is entrusted with last rites.

Funeral services Tues., Feb. 6 [1973] at 3 p.m. at the CHAPEL OF THE CHIMES, THORNHILL, GERAGHTY & LANGBEHN FUNERAL HOME, N1322 MONROE ST. Dr. Glenn C. Carlson officiating. Burial Fairmount Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to the Easter Seal Society, W510 2nd.
