Le Roy, June 13.—The death of Mrs. DeForrest Shippey of No. 40 North street occurred at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon [June 12, 1922]. Mrs. Shippey's death was very sudden, her illness lasting only overnight.
Mrs. Shippey, whoes [sic] maiden name was Ellen Augusta Allen, was born in Le Roy and had always lived here. About twenty years ago she was united in marriage to Mr. Shippey, who survives her together with a son, De Forrest, Jr., of Le Roy. She is also survived by a brother, Michael Allen of Le Roy and six sisters, Mrs. Andrew Harsch of Rochester, Mrs. Michael Harvey, Mrs. F. J. McAndrews, Mrs. Frank Gentner and Miss Elizabeth Allen, all of Le Roy, and Mrs. William Murphy of Medina.

Le Roy, June 15.—The funeral of Mrs. De Forest Shippey will be held from St. Peter's church at 9 o'clock tomorrow morning [June 16, 1922]. The interment will be in St. Francis's cemetery.
